Plan breast augmentation around the torso, fold and chest wall
The Total Definer breast masterclass presents Alfredo Hoyos’s planning philosophy for augmentation, linking torso length, chest-to-waist proportion and inframammary fold type to pocket choice, with discussion of medial dual plane dissection, medial expansion, internal bra support, fat grafting and individualised implant selection.

The programme
Torso proportions & vertical planning
The first lecture argues that augmentation planning starts with the whole torso rather than the breast alone. Short and long torsos, chest-waist balance and different inframammary fold types each change where the implant and new fold should sit.
Fold control in the Total Definer breast masterclass
Strategies for problem folds include fat grafting, internal bra reinforcement and medial dual plane pockets. Hoyos explains how these choices help prevent recognisable deformities that follow poorly positioned folds.
Medial expansion & the dual plane interface
The second lecture works through clinical examples to show how chest wall shape and torso length influence cleavage, upper-pole volume and a natural silhouette. The medial expansion and dual plane interface concepts are defined using visual case material.
Muscle dissection variants & long-term care
The closing hour compares dual plane techniques by how much muscle is released and how that alters final shape. Body type, desired projection and implant choice are tied together, followed by thoughts on aftercare and long-term follow-up.
Who it’s for
- Plastic surgeons refine augmentation planning with a proportion-based framework
- Body contouring surgeons connect breast decisions with overall torso aesthetics
- Surgical trainees learn the reasoning behind fold placement and pocket selection
The consult
Does it cover mastopexy, reduction and reconstruction in depth?
No — although the programme overview mentions lifts, reductions, reconstruction and revisions, all three recorded lectures concentrate on breast augmentation planning and pocket technique.
Are live operations or hands-on demonstrations included?
The recordings are lecture-based presentations built around case studies and visual material. The practical demonstrations that accompanied the original event are not part of the package.
How long is each lecture?
The three modules run 43, 36 and 51 minutes, a compact format suited to a focused review of augmentation planning. The material is educational and does not replace supervised surgical training.
Is my access limited to a set period?
No — all three lectures can be streamed straight after purchase, and access never lapses.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Derma Academy provides the course files only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included.
