The programme
Choosing a central pedicle for a long notch-to-nipple distance
The first patient, aged 67 with grade 3 ptosis and a 30 cm sternal notch-to-nipple measurement, needs substantial nipple elevation. The lesson explains why a superior pedicle risked circulation at that lift height and how soft-tissue support reinforces the reduction.
Secondary lift with popcorn capsulorrhaphy
A patient with saline implants asks for a rounder, more projected upper pole at the same overall volume. The plan combines implant exchange, mesh-reinforced capsulorrhaphy and removal of axillary breast tissue on both sides.
Ribeiro flap in the Spanish mastopexy course
A 40-year-old moving from a D to a small C cup keeps upper pole fullness through an inferior island flap fixed higher on the chest. Planned values include a 25 to 21 cm notch-to-nipple change and a 42 mm areola target.
Augmentation mastopexy with absorbable mesh
A 37-year-old after two pregnancies seeking a D to DD result receives 500 cc moderate-profile implants placed submuscularly. A superior pedicle with a vertical pattern, lower pole reduction and Durazorb PDO mesh complete the strategy.
Explant, capsulectomy & autologous reshaping
The closing two-hour case removes saline implants with their entire capsule, then lifts and reshapes the breast using the patient’s own tissue. Selective fat grafting refines contour where volume is still lacking.
Who it’s for
- Spanish-speaking plastic surgeons follow detailed mastopexy reasoning in their working language
- Aesthetic breast surgeons review mesh, autoaugmentation and explant strategies
- Revision specialists watch capsulorrhaphy, implant exchange and capsulectomy decisions step by step
- Residents training in Spanish connect preoperative measurements with intraoperative choices
The consult
What language is the narration in?
Spanish throughout, including lesson titles. English and Portuguese editions of the same cases are sold separately if you prefer another language.
Is this a different course from Advanced Initial & Revision Mastopexy?
No. It contains the same five Calobrace operations as that English product and as Advanced Techniques in First- and Second-Stage Breast Lift Surgery 2021, so choose just one version.
Which adjunct procedures appear?
Besides the lifts themselves you will see popcorn and suture capsulorrhaphy, mirror capsulotomy, liposuction, axillary breast tissue excision and fat transfer.
Does watching prepare me to perform these operations?
It sharpens planning and technical judgement, yet it remains observational and cannot stand in for supervised surgical training.
How long will I have the lessons?
Indefinitely — the five lessons open the moment payment goes through and never expire.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Derma Academy provides the course files only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included.
