The programme
Silhouette types and fat distribution
The opening session explains how genetics and fat-storage patterns shape the body, sorting figures into A, B, square and round categories. It stresses natural asymmetry and individual proportion before any surgical option is proposed.
The Athena in the skinny BBL course
Faculty demonstrate a skinny Brazilian butt lift that pursues a defined waist by combining gluteal fat transfer with rib infraction. Markings, intraoperative decisions and safety pearls are discussed as the case progresses.
Anatomic liposculpture
Liposculpture is taught as anatomy-driven contouring rather than simple volume removal. Planning, precise markings and problem-solving during the procedure are emphasised to support consistent shape and lower complication risk.
The Adonis male contour and patient philosophy
The second session introduces Jose Aquino’s approach, framed around emotional and physical wellbeing as part of the surgical journey. His demonstrations include the Adonis procedure for male body definition.
Who it’s for
- Aesthetic plastic surgeons compare high-definition gluteal and waist techniques from a live-surgery faculty
- Cosmetic surgeons refine fat-transfer markings, sequencing and intraoperative judgement
- Residents and fellows prepare for body-contouring practice with anatomy and safety teaching
- Operating room teams understand the flow and safety checkpoints of large sculpting cases
The consult
How is the material divided?
It comes as two long recordings: an 8h 20m first session and a 4h 25m second session. There is no chapter-by-chapter breakdown, so expect to navigate within each video.
Which operations are demonstrated?
The Athena skinny BBL with rib infraction, anatomic liposculpture and the Adonis. The session summaries do not specify which faculty member performs each case.
Is safety discussed alongside technique?
Yes — anatomy and core safety concepts are a stated focus throughout. The recordings are educational and do not replace supervised training in gluteal fat grafting.
Was this recorded at a live event?
Yes — it is the session library from a live surgery master series held in Miami in 2025.
How quickly is access granted?
Both sessions are ready to stream once your order is paid, and access does not lapse.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Derma Academy provides the course files only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included.
