Take a front-row seat at a two-day deep plane dissection meeting
The deep plane dissection course Facial Aesthetics Deep Plane and Beyond 2025 records both full days of a meeting led by seven facial surgeons, among them Francisco G. Bravo, Nabil Fakih and Michele Pascali, mixing anatomical dissection, live and pre-recorded surgical walkthroughs and talks on surgical thinking.

The programme
Facial anatomy through cadaver dissection
The meeting is built on detailed dissections that expose the layers relevant to modern rejuvenation surgery. Seeing these planes opened step by step helps explain where deep plane release happens and which structures need protecting.
Day one of the deep plane dissection course
The first seven-hour recording introduces the lab format and moves between live demonstration, pre-recorded operative video and hands-on dissection. It sets the anatomical and procedural groundwork for the more advanced second day.
Day two: advanced technique and faculty perspective
The second recording brings six named faculty back to the lab and lectern. Talks explore balancing analytical planning with artistic judgement, and why collaboration and humility among surgeons improve care.
Complication avoidance through anatomy
Throughout both days, anatomical clarity is presented as the main route to better outcomes and fewer complications. Step-by-step walkthroughs translate what is seen on the cadaver into intraoperative strategy.
Who it’s for
- Facial plastic surgeons revisit deep plane anatomy as it is dissected layer by layer
- Surgeons adopting deep plane lifting observe several experienced faculty explain their reasoning
- Trainees without lab access watch a full cadaver meeting from start to finish
The consult
Is the content split into topic chapters?
No — it is delivered as two continuous day recordings of about seven and six and a half hours. A detailed per-session agenda is not supplied, so finding a specific talk means scrubbing within each day.
Which faculty appear on the second day?
Day two names, alphabetically, Francisco Bravo, Dominic Bray, Neil Gordon, Lessandro Martins, L. Mike Nayak and Michele Pascali. Nabil Fakih is named on the course but not on that day’s line-up.
How does it relate to the Deep Plane Face & Neck Lift 2025 series?
Both share much of the same faculty. This product is the cadaver meeting itself; the other is a set of five complete operations led by Francisco Bravo.
Can it replace attending a dissection course?
It gives a close view of the lab, but watching is not the same as dissecting. Use it alongside supervised hands-on training.
When will I be able to watch?
Both days are unlocked for you immediately after payment and remain yours to rewatch indefinitely.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Derma Academy provides the course files only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included.
