Combine CaHA and hyaluronic acid region by region with cannula and needle
The CaHA HA filler course pairs rheology and mechanism-of-action theory for Radiesse and Belotero with dozens of short patient demonstrations covering the chin, jawline, pre-jowl sulcus, lips, cheek ligament lifts, tear troughs, nose, nasolabial folds and earlobes, including male treatments and an ultrasound-guided hyperconcentrated CaHA case.

The programme
Filler science & complication prevention
Jani van Loghem and Philippe Snozzi open with the properties of the two products, their ideal planes and the artistic logic of placement. A downloadable document on preventing and managing soft-tissue filler complications accompanies the theory block.
Chin projection & mentum augmentation
Four compact demonstrations compare midline and lateral cannula entries for hyaluronic acid in the chin. A male chin case and a mentum augmentation show how entry choice changes with the projection goal.
Jawline, mandibular angle & pre-jowl sulcus
The largest lower-face module gathers five injectors working on jawline definition, marionette lines and the masseteric angle. Male CaHA treatments by cannula and needle sit beside infraoral ligament lifting and pre-jowl sulcus correction.
Lips & perioral refinement
Cleo Edwards and Dalvi Humzah demonstrate needle-based lip work in three sequences, then address radial lip lines, the vermilion border, mucosa and oral commissures. A Profhilo cannula case adds a skin-quality perspective to the perioral area.
Cheek ligament lifts in the CaHA HA filler course
Sixteen cheek lessons explore CaHA and HA by cannula and needle, targeting the ZCL, ZRL and GRP ligaments, the deep medial cheek fat and preauricular wrinkles. Male cheeks and an ultrasound-guided hyperconcentrated CaHA case complete the midface block.
Tear trough & palpebromalar groove
Jonathan Kadouch shows lateral-entry cannula approaches to the palpebromalar groove and several tear trough treatments, including a male patient. The short format makes it easy to compare subtle variations in entry point and product volume.
Nose, nasolabial folds, earlobes & forehead
Job Thuis closes with nasolabial folds treated by both products, non-surgical nose shaping by cannula and needle, and earlobe rejuvenation. A final clip addresses brow hooding and horizontal forehead lines using a blanching technique.
Who it’s for
- Experienced aesthetic physicians refine combination protocols with calcium hydroxylapatite and HA
- Dermatologists compare cannula and needle choices across every facial third
- Plastic surgeons add advanced non-surgical contouring to surgical practice
- Injectors treating men study dedicated male chin, jawline and cheek demonstrations
The consult
Can a beginner injector take this course?
It is not designed for beginners. The teaching assumes a solid foundation in facial anatomy and basic filler technique, and builds advanced combination strategies on top of that.
Which products are demonstrated?
The theory centres on Radiesse (CaHA) and Belotero (HA), and the demonstrations also include a Profhilo cannula lip case and a hyperconcentrated CaHA cheek treatment under ultrasound guidance.
How long are the individual demonstrations?
Most lessons are short, region-specific clips, while the opening theory module runs close to an hour and a half. The format suits quick revision before treating a particular area.
Does it go deep into vascular complications?
Complication prevention and management are addressed in the first module and its PDF, but the focus of the course is combination technique. It does not replace supervised clinical training in emergency management.
When will the lessons be available to me?
Every module opens immediately once payment is confirmed and stays available with no expiry date.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Derma Academy provides the course files only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included.
