Sharpen every rhinoplasty manoeuvre with anatomy seen under the lab lights
The Art and Craft of Rhinoplasty recording brings Enrico Robotti’s Porto faculty — José Carlos Neves, Miguel Gonçalves Ferreira, Nazim Cerkes, Olivier Gerbault, Wolfgang Gubisch and Sam Most — to your screen, weaving nasal anatomy, cadaver demonstrations, operative video and panel debate into a side-by-side look at preservation, structural and hybrid surgery.

The programme
Nasal anatomy that drives decisions
Faculty begin from the structures that determine safe planes and stable support: skin envelope, ligaments, cartilages, bony vault and septum. Anatomical variation is stressed so that later technique choices are tied to what the dissection actually reveals.
Preservation, structure & hybrid philosophies
Speakers set their preferred philosophies against one another, explaining when they keep the dorsum intact, when they rebuild it and when they mix both. The debate format makes the trade-offs of each school easier to judge.
Cadaver demonstrations in the Art and Craft of Rhinoplasty
Live dissections on specimens show manoeuvres step by step under magnified view. Faculty narrate what they are doing and why, while attendees question them directly from the floor.
Three focused faculty panels
Separate panels tackle how each surgeon enters the nose, which instruments they favour for bony work and how they control the tip. Hearing seven experienced operators answer the same questions exposes useful differences in routine.
Function, aesthetics & complication avoidance
Airway improvement is discussed alongside shape, symmetry and proportion. Case-based examples and technical pearls illustrate how careful planning reduces the risk of revision and makes outcomes more predictable.
Who it’s for
- Facial plastic surgeons test their routine against seven international approaches
- Otolaryngologists link septal and airway work to aesthetic rhinoplasty steps
- Residents and fellows gain front-row views of cadaver dissection without travelling
- Surgical educators collect anatomy demonstrations and debate material for teaching
The consult
How is the material organised?
It comes as two continuous day-long recordings with SRT subtitle files, so lectures, dissections and discussion appear in their original running order rather than as separate chapters.
Is the whole live meeting captured?
Roughly 95% is included; a small portion could not be released because of patient permission restrictions.
Do I already own this if I bought the Porto rhinoplasty cadaver lab product?
Very likely — Derma Academy also offers a Porto rhinoplasty cadaver recording with the same faculty, so compare both pages before ordering to avoid a duplicate purchase.
Can watching replace hands-on dissection?
No. The videos help you understand anatomy and technique, but they do not substitute for supervised lab practice or operative training.
When are the recordings unlocked?
Both days are ready to stream the moment your order is paid, and access has no end date.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Derma Academy provides the course files only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included.
