The programme
Primary cases filmed step by step
The first two operations are cut into short chapters: analysis, incision and dissection, septum and dorsum management, osteotomies and caudal septal repositioning. Tip work, footplate sutures, PRF-wrapped diced cartilage on the dorsum and alar base reduction complete each case.
Rib cartilage reconstruction in the Portuguese rhinoplasty course
Two cases begin with costal cartilage and abdominal fascia harvest, then show graft carving, spreader grafts versus spreader flaps and septal extension. Lateral crural strut grafts, a composite ear graft and fat grafting appear in the more demanding fourth operation.
Dorsal narrowing, radix and base refinement
The fifth surgery revisits dorsum and septal fixation after osteotomies, then narrows the dorsum and adds diced cartilage at the radix. Footplate suturing and base reduction show how the final contour is balanced from below.
Live sessions on preservation and revision
Close to nine hours of recorded lives include a session on dorsal preservation and osteotomies performed without piezo, plus a dedicated secondary rhinoplasty broadcast. The remaining lives are labelled only by date.
Theory from evaluation to complications
The longest module covers nasal evaluation, operative sequencing, clean surgical technique, a surgeon’s daily routine and light-and-shadow analysis. Later classes address inverse rhinoplasty and tip “puzzle” planning, secondary decision steps, complication management and what truly matters on a CT scan.

Which language is the teaching in?

Not entirely. Six theory classes in the main module and one live recording carry only a number or file name, so their topics are not identified in advance.
Is the course limited to structured rhinoplasty?
No — it spans conservative, structured, hybrid and secondary work, including a live on dorsal preservation without piezo. Office routine, standardised photography and managing difficult patients are also part of the stated scope.
How does this differ from other Perface Academy products?
